The Goshawk is very similar to the Sparrowhawk, but almost twice as big. It differs from the Sparrowhawk also with a long pale stripe above the eye. It has shorter wings than buzzards, eagles, harriers and kites; the tail shorter than harriers and kites, but longer than buzzards and eagles.
